Working with Belfrē Kitchen, Delafield, Wisconsin's newest restaurant, has been such a dream for me in so many ways! I love teaming up with local businesses to help bring a photographic element to their brand and aesthetic. What has made it even more personally rewarding is how much fun the owner and team are to work with. So much so that they have become like friends to me! The restaurant is set in a historic building originally built as a Presbyterian church in 1868. The owner and interior designer took painstaking efforts to maintain as much of the building's original character as possible - even giving a nod to its roots as a church with gold pipes in the balcony seating area. The color pallet is dark blue and white with gold accents and is very fresh and contemporary, while also maintaining a cozy feel. I had the honor of attending the soft opening on Friday, October 21st with my husband and it was such a treat. The food was as beautiful as it was delicious and creative. Belfrē Kitchen is sure to be embraced by Delafield - especially with its philosophy that emphasizes "food & friends".
